Dealer is close to my home and to my work. Jan Valk and i hit it off right away with he understanding my needs and desires in an RV. His willingness to help me achieve my goals in the RV we would ultimately purchase from selection, financing and delivery, far exceeded my expectations in Customer Support. i’d heard horror stories about RV dealers and was pleasantly surprised to find none of that here. Jan Valk sold me the PERFECT RV. He understood what I wanted and how quickly I needed it, and fulfilled my deepest wishes. He was responsive, worked as if I were his only customer (I was not) and was very friendly and humorous. I would definitely buy from him again! Also, Billy, the mechanic – was outstanding. He changed some things that needed changed, communicated exceptionally, and showed me every detail that I needed to see in the walk-thru. Plus, they brought in a transporter to move my RV to the park for me – Morris Johnson, who went way beyond expectations in aligning and setting up my RV, even going to the store for me to get additional items. These guys make an amazing team!! – Use them – you will be pleasantly surprised!

My wife and I had been researching Jayco trailers for 2 years. Returning to them was a priority, we had one many years ago. Jayco manufactures a great trailer with a great warranty. We attended the RV show in Houston and Jan Valk spent lots of time with us in several different models. He was patient, forthcoming with great information and non pressuring. We then visited the south lot several times and Jan was always congenial, he made our purchase, financing and trade in effortless on our part! Pete did a fantastic job giving us the information we needed about our trailer in our walk through and he made certain everything was working!

Purchased many campers in my life and must say Lone star RV was top notch. Jan Valk was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the campers we were interested in. He did not pressure us to buy and explained the different levels of construction and use for each camper. We purchased a 29′ Jaco rv and Jan had all the paper work ready for us to view and compare because I did some research myself and Jan found better loan rates, and cheaper insurance. I had one issue after I got the camper home and Jan ordered the replacement with no cost to me. This is the best customer satisfaction I have ever received from RV dealership.

Our sales person (Jan) is very knowledgeable about what he is selling. Jan did not try to BS his way into a sell, no high pressure sales tatics, made the experience of buying our first travel trailer a nice experience. I am sure we drove him and service tech crazy with questions but they answered them all. All the people working at Lone Star RV South were very nice before, during and after sale.
The only complaint I have is we were camping for about a week and the battery was discharging over night. Upon checking things out I notice the battery to be a 24 series and coming from the boating world thought this a little strange so went to nearest town and bought a 27 series battery, solved problem. Battery stayed charged for next 6 days before having to charge.
